total weight =80 after adding 5 student's weight.

And 20 kg is removed sthis implies

80-20=60

therefore 60/80 ×100 that is 75%

The percentage change is 75 %.

GIVEN: Average weight of the class is 30 kg
TO FIND:
Percentage change
SOLUTION:

As we know,

Percentage change refers to the quantitative measure of the changes made in the initial numbers.
According to the question,

Average weight of class = 30 kg

The weight of Five students is added to the average

Therefore,

Total weight  after adding 5 student's weight = 80 kg

Now,

20 kg is to be removed from the total weight.

Total weight after deducting 20 kg = 80 - 20

                                                            = 60 kg

Therefore,

Percentage change =           Total weight after changes           * 1000

                                        Weight before making the changes

That means,             =      60/80 ×100

                                 = 75 %

Hence,

The percentage change is 75 %.
