Avery is learning how to type. She increases the number of words she can type in a minute by 15% every week. This week she can type 25 words a minute. In 6 weeks about how many words a minute should she be able to type?

She can type 25 words at the beginning. a=25words. The common difference is 15% of a i.e. (15/100)25=3.75. Now 6th term will be 5(3.75)+25 which is about 40 words per minute. Option A would do

because To find the 7th term of an geometric sequence, use the formula: a(n) = a1 · rn-1. So a(7) = 25·1.157-1 ≈ 58 words.
