Answer:

20 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that, excluding stoppages, the speed of a bus is 54 kmph.

⇒ Distance travelled by train in 1 hour,

excluding stoppages = 54 km.

Also, it is given that including stoppages the speed of the bus is 36 km/hr.

⇒ Distance travelled by the bus in 1 hour, including stoppages = 36 km.

(Distance travelled by bus in 1 hour excluding stoppages – distance travelled by bus in 1 hour including stoppages)

⇒(54km−36km)

⇒18 km

That means, due to stoppages, the bus covers 18km less.

Hence, time taken to cover 18 km,

=distance travelledspeed/speed of the bus

It is given usual speed of the bus = 54 km/hour

∴∴ Time taken to cover 18 km =18km/54kmph

=1/3 hours

Time taken in minutes =(1/3)×60minutes

=20 minutes

(Since, 1 hour = 60 minutes)

Therefore, the bus stops per hour for 20 minutes.
