avik starts running on a circular track of length 600 meters.he completes the first round in 2min 24sec.for all subsequent rounds,his speed decreases by 10% of his previous rounds speed what will be aviks speed when he is running the third round​

Given,

The length of the track = 600 metres

Completion time of the first round = 2 min 24 sec

Speed decreases 10% than the previous round.

To find,

The speed of him in the third round.

Solution,

Time taken in first round = 2 min 24 sec = 120 sec + 24 sec = 144 sec

Speed in the first round = Total distance / Total time = 600/144 = 4.16 m/s = 14.97 km/h

Speed in the second round = 14.97 - (14.97 × 10/100) = 14.97 - 1.497 = 13.47 km/h

Speed in the third round = 13.47 - (13.47 × 10/100) = 13.47 - 1.347 = 12.12 km/h

Hence,his speed in the third round is 12.12 kilometres per hour.
