Awire is the form of a circle of radius 42 cm is bent into a square. Find the side of the

the length of the wire = the perimeter of the circle = 2πx42 = (44x6)cm.

the perimeter of the square = the length of the wire = 44x6 cm.

Hence the length of the sides of the square = 44x6\4 = 66cm.

Radius=42cm

Circumference =2×22/7×42

=2×22×6

=264cm

This mean the perimeter of square is also =264cm

Let the side be 'x'

Then

x×x=264

x^2=264

x=under root 264

x=16.248cm
