let ax+b = 0 and x+2 =0
p(-1) = -1 + 2 = 1
p(1) = 1 + 3 = 4
p(-2) = -2 + 2 = 0
hence x = -2
substitute and find the a and b value

p(1) = 1 + 3 = 4
p(-2) = -2 + 2 = 0
hence x = -2
