→ ax - by - a² - b² = 0 _(i)

→ x + y - 2ab = 0 _(ii)

By doing a × (ii) we get,

→ ax + ay - 2a²b = 0 _(iii)

By doing (i) - (ii) we get,

→ by - ay - (a² + b²) + 2a²b = 0

→ - y(a - b) - (a² + b² - 2ab) = 0

→ - y(a - b) = (a - b)²

y = b - a

By substituting this value in (ii) we get,

→ x + b - a - 2ab = 0

x = a - b + 2ab

x = a-b+2ab; y = b-a
