Answer:

x= 1,y=-1

Explanation:

ax + by = a-b ------->I

bx – ay = a+b-------->II

I × a + II × B

=> a^2x + ab y= a^2-ab

b^2 x - ab y = ab + b^2

_____________________

(a^2+b^2) x = (a^2+b^2)

x =1

from I

a(1) +b y=a-b

by= a-b-a

by = -b

y= -1

so x= 1,y=-1
