Step-by-step explanation:

x²-a²-bx-ab=0

(x-a)(x+a)-b(x+a)=0

(x+a)[(x-a)-b]=0

So, either (x+a)=0 or (x-a-b) = 0

x = -a and

x-a-b=0

x+x-b =0

2x-b =0

b = 2x

b = 2x

x=b/2

I hope it will help you.
