100 = (AB)² + 36

2) BC = BD + CD

         = 6 + 9

   BC = 15 cm

2) In triangle ABC, Angle B = 90 degree,

Therefore by pythagorus theorum,

(AC)² = (AB)² + (BC)²

        = (8)² + (15)²

        = 64 + 225

        =289

AC = 17cm
