Ayurveda in Sanskrit means the complete knowledge for long life. Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional medicine native to India. The words ‘āyus’ in Sanskrit means "longevity", and ‘veda’ means "related to knowledge" or "science". The Suśruta Saṃhitā and the Caraka Saṃhitā are great encyclopedias of medicine compiled from various sources from the mid-first millennium BCE to about 500 CE. Ayurveda adopted the physics of the five elements, namely, Pṛithvī(earth), Jala(water), Agni (fire), Vāyu (air) and Ākāśa (sky)). These elements compose the universe, including the human body. Chyle or plasma, blood, flesh, fat, bone, marrow, and semen or female reproductive tissue are the seven primary constituent elements of the body and are known as saptadhatu. The evolution of the Indian art of healing and living a healthy life comes from the four Vedas namely : Rig veda, Sama veda, Yajur veda and Atharva veda. The Atharva Veda contains the magic spells and the occult sciences and also the Ayurveda that deals with the diseases, injuries, fertility, sanity and health. Yoga, aroma, meditation, gems, amulets, herbs, diet, astrology, color and surgery etc. are used in treating patients. Treating important and sensitive spots on the body called Marmas is described in Ayurveda. Massages, exercises and yoga are recommended. Give an apprpriate tiltle to the passage
