Let total expenses be = E
Profit = Rs.9000
Since, this profit was 10% on the total expenses.
So,
( E x 10 ) / 100 = 9000
E / 10 = 9000
E = Rs. 90000
Since the original expense given is Rs. 8000
Overhead Expenses = E - Original Expense
Overhead Expenses = 90000 - 8000
Overhead Expenses = Rs. 82,000
Profit = Rs.9000
Since, this profit was 10% on the total expenses.
So,
( E x 10 ) / 100 = 9000
E / 10 = 9000
E = Rs. 90000
Since the original expense given is Rs. 8000
Overhead Expenses = E - Original Expense
Overhead Expenses = 90000 - 8000
Overhead Expenses = Rs. 82,000
