Question code: 9.2.2 (Grade 9 Mathematics, Chapter 2)

================================================== ===

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

d = 140 cm, r = 70 cm

t = 150 cm

Volume of total water

= Πr²t

= 22/7 × 70 × 70 × 150

= 22/1 × 10 × 70 × 150

= 220 × 10,500

= 2,310,000 cm³

Volume of water if filled with 2/3 parts

= 2/3 parts × Total volume

= 2/3 × 2,310,000

= 2x770,000

= 1,540,000 cm³ or

= 1,540 Liters

volume = Π × r × r × T

= 22/7 × 70 × 70 × 150

= 2310000 × 2/3 = 15,40000

the volume of water in the tub is

2310000-1540000 = 770000
