1. In the given figure, AB = BD and CA = DC.
(a) Prove that ABAC = ABDC.
(b) Is ZABC = ZDBC? Why?​

1. A) Prove that ABAC = ABDC

=> AB ≅ BD (Given)

=> CA ≅ DC (Given)

=> angle A ≅ angle A (common in both sides)

∴ ABAC = ABDC

=> Hence proved by SAS congruence

B) Is ZABC = ZDBC? Why?

=> ABC = DBC (common angle B)

=> BC = BC (common)

=> ZA = ZD (same angle)

∴ ZABC ≅ ZDBC

=> Hence proved by SSS congruence
