Given :-

• Length of rectangular metal sheel = 44 cm
• Breadth of rectangular metal sheet = 11 cm

Find :-

• Volume of cylinder

Explanation

We Have,

Rectangular metal sheet fold along the length of a cylinder , that mean.

Rectangular metal sheet fold along the length of a cylinder , that mean.The Breadth becomes its height and length becomes its circumference of base circle

Formula

★ Circumference of circle = 2πr

★ Volume of cylinder = πr²h

So, Now

==> Circumference of circle = length of rectangular metal sheet

==> 2πr = 44

==> r = 44 × 7/(22×2)

==> r = 7 cm

Now, Calculate Volume Of Cylinder

==> volume of cylinder = πr²h

==> Volume of cylinder = 22/7 × 7² × 11

==> volume of cylinder = 22 × 7 × 11

==> volume of cylinder = 154 × 11

==> Volume of cylinder = 1694 cm³

Hence

• Volume of cylinder will be = 1694 cm³
