(b) 2/7 of the flowers in a vase are red 3/7 of them are white and the rest are yellow. If the vase
has 21 flowers how many are yellow?​

then,

If we add 6 and 9 with each other and then subtract it from 21 the we will get the number of yellow flowers -

= 21-(6 + 9)

= 21 - 15

= 6 (Number of yellow flowers in the vase)
