Given:-

  • 2x - 3 = 5x - 6

To find:-

  • Value of x.

Solution:-

⇛ 2x - 3 = 5x - 6

⇛ 2x - 5x = 3 - 6

⇛ -3x = -3

⇛ x = -3/-3

x = 1

Hence,

  • the value of x is 1.

Verification:-

  • Putting the value.

⇛ 2(1) - 3 = 5(1) - 6

⇛ 2 - 3 = 5 - 6

-1 = -1

LHS = RHS
