at different levels, one over the other, as shown in
the figure. They are (temporarily) closed with an
adhesive tape. The can is now filled with water.
What will you observe, when the tape (on all of
them) is pulled out? Justify your answer.

We know that,

Pressure in a liquid increases with increase in depth.

In the above figure the hole A is at the bottom , so when the tape is pulled out from the holes the water coming from hole A will have the highest pressure as compared to other points .

Similarly , the water coming from hole B will have medium pressure and water from point C will have the minimum pressure .
