Let a2+b2 be x

(a + b) whole square = a square + 2ab + B square

12 square. = a square + B square + 14 x2

144. = x + 28

144-28. = x

116. = x

Answer:since

a²+b²=(a+b)²-2ab,

then

a²+b²=12²-2×14,

a²-b²=144-28,

a²-b²=116

Hope it will helps you!!!
