b. A 34-year-old man complains he is tired a lot and he has lost a substantial amount of weight over the past few months. A routine blood test shows low sodium levels, but his blood glucose levels are normal. What test would you order next? What results could help you make a diagnosis?

I would order a serum electrolyte test for checking why the sodium in the blood is low .
Sodium helps in maintaining fluid levels of the body .
If the sodium comes low in the test then the it would result in various problems like kidney failure or slow heart failure .
Further I would order an echocardiogram to take a diagnosis for heart and a renal ultrasound for the kidneys . I would look into the results of both test and reach to a conclusion about the diagnosis .
