given,

weight of cube = 8N

pressure (P) = 2 Pa

to find: the length of the cube in centimetre

solution:

Pressure is defined as thrust(or force) per unit area.

or, P = F / A

or, 2 = 8 / A

or, A = 8 / 2

or, A = 4 m²

Area of cube is given as:

A = 6x² , where x is length of cube in meter.

4 = 6x²

x² = 4 / 6

or, x = 2 / 3 m = 0.67 m

then, in centimeter length of cube will be 0.67 / 100 = 67 cm
