2x=x+3

twice of x=2x

13-2x=5

13-5=2x

8=2x

8/2=x

x=4

(d)let the no. be x

1/9×x+1=11

1/9x+1=11

1/9x=11-1

1/9x=10

1x=10×9

x=90
