Area of parallelogram = base × height
=> p = 25 × (425+ p)
=> p = (25×425) + 25p
=> p= 10625 + 25 p
=> p - 25p = 10625
=> -24 p = 10625
=> p = - 10625/24
=> p = - 442.7 cm^2
area can never be negetive so, by putting it in absolute value we get, area of parallelogram = 442.7 cm^2
