b. ABC is an isosceles triangle with AB=AC=13cm and BC =5cm.
Find the altitude on BC and calculate the area of the triangle.​

we know that in isosceles triangle two line are same so....there will be two angel will be same..so we cay say that...angel is 60°

let AD is the altitude on the BC

so by triangle property

tan60°=x/(5/2)

2x=5√3

x=5√3/2

area of triangle= 1/2 ×base × hight

= 1/2× 5× 5√3/2

=25√3/4
