The answers are as follows:
1. When everybody was ready to greet the new king, they were surprised to see he came in limping and that too wearing a bowler hat on his head. Everyone was taken aback by this strange new king.
2. The king brought 2 neighbors into the court because they were following him with a dog as well, and he had caught the two of them fighting on the street.
3. The prime minister and the two courtiers impersonated the king by limping as well and wearing bowler hats as they were sycophants and wanted to please him. They all limped except for one of the ladies and the young courtier.
4. The new king solved the quarrel by suggesting cutting the dog in half so they both leave with each piece. One of the men withdrew his claim so the dog wouldn’t be killed and thus, the king figured out he was the true owner and gave him his dog back.
5. The first neighbor was sent to prison because he had lied about the dog and was even ready to see it killed.
6. The old prime minister was removed from his position as the king hated sycophants and was testing them he then appointed ‘the honest’ courtier as the new prime minister.
