1.After all failed attempts they went to his mother to find him. ... Lutkin's mother invited them both in the kitchen and then took out iron rod from stove and threatened them to burn them by that. She chased them out and laughed on them.

2.Mrs. Pumphrey treated Tricki as her own child. She loved him very much. It was very difficult for her to see Tricki in such a situation.

3.What was the effect of the sufferings of the world on Buddha? Answer: At the age of 25, while hunting, one day Buddha saw a sick man, then an aged man, then a funeral procession and finally a monk begging for alms. These moved him so much that he went out into the world to seek enlightenment

Lutkins’ mother was not ready to tell them anything about Lutkins’. She tried to avoid their enquiry. When she ceune to know about the purposes of the narrator, she got furious. She went to the kitchen and came out with an iron rod. She marched towards them with a threat. They had to retreat from there.
