earth's magnetic field and its horizontal component.

The earth's magnetic field

B=\sqrt{= BH2+BV2} =\sqrt{(0.3) 2+(0.52)2} =0.6G

and angle of dip, tanδ=  

BH /BV =  0.3 /0.52 =1.734

δ=tan  

−1 (1.734)=60° .
