Then at present

Age of Ruby will be =49-X

Also 7 yrs ago

i.e, when daughter was of (X-7) yrs

Ruby was 6 times as old as her daughter

$6(x - 7) = (49 - x) - 7$

$6x - 42 = 42 - x$

$7x = 84$

$x = \frac{84}{7}$

x =12 yrs

then ruby must be of

49-12 i.e, 37 yrs

Age of Ruby =37

Age of little ruby ‍♀️=12
