Given :

  • B : C = 3 : 4,

  • C : D = 4 : 5

  • A : B = 2 : 3

To find :

  • D : A ( A : D is value are same )

Solution :

since,

A/B x B/C x C/D = A/D

2/3 x 3/4 x 4/5 = A/D

2/5 = A/D

0.4 = A/D

value of A : D is 2 : 5 or in decimal 0.4

Extra information :

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h

  • T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

  • Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h

  • C.S.A of cone = πrl

  • T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²

  • Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

  • C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

  • Value of D:A

We know

D:A = A:D

So According to question, we used A/B × B/C × C/D = D/A

According to the question

A/B × B/C × C/D = D/A

= 2/3 × 3/4 × 4/5 = D/A

= D/A = 2/5

= D/A = 0.4

So, D/A is 2:5 or 0.4.
