(1.) Evaporation is the process of changing of state from liquid to gas.

Dissolved solids can be separated by Evaporation.

For eg:- When a salt solution is boiled until all the water is evaporated and at the end, salt would be left behind, there we are able to separate salt from its solution.

(2.)Sieving : - Sieves are used at construction sites to separate pebbles and stones from sand. Sieves are also used to separate fine flour particles from the bigger impurities.
