  • (1)In Mathematics, composite numbers are numbers that have more than two factors. These numbers are also called composites. Composite numbers are just the opposite of prime numbers which have only two factors, i.e. 1 and the number itself.
  • (2) Improper fractions, with the name, signifies that the fractions are not done in a proper manner for any number, object or any element. In terms of Maths, an improper fraction has numerator bigger or greater than the denominator, such as 3/2. Whereas in a proper fraction the denominator is greater than the numerator, like 1/2.
  • (3) Fractions with different denominators are called the unlike fractions. Here the denominators of fractions have different values. For example, 2/3, 4/9, 6/67, 9/89 are unlike fractions.
