The poet wants to surrender his will to God’s will willingly out of love for God.

If we love God dearly and truly, the awareness of the self disappears and we become

one with the Him – the division that is so characteristic of earthly love for things and

people disappears resulting in the annihilation of the self, which is the ultimate path

to salvation.
