Frienship :Bassanio was very faithful to Antonio as seen in the Merchant of Venice . Despite, the need of money to win portia his love he got against Antonio for signing the bond . The next proof of his friendship is that when he received the letter from Antonio that he is in great trouble and he failed to pay of the money of Shylock Bassanio gets to Venice and helps him despite leaving her wife at home.
Love : Bassanio loved Portia dearly . It could be clearly seen that when Portia dressed as a intermediate asks for the ring of Bassanio but he hesitates to it . Then some time later he offers . The ring was the same which Portia asked not to part with .
