Regular Reflection

Whenever, light falls on a smooth and polished surface like mirror,spoon or any type of metal it reflects the rays back to our eyes, that is known as regular reflection. It also creates a glare in our eyes, which is harmful for our eyes .

Diffuse Reflection

Whenever, light falls on a rough surface like wood, book or any other type of opaque object it doesn't reflect the rays back to our eyes, that is known as diffuse reflection or irregular reflection. Also it does not create any glare in our eyes, and is not harmful also.
