elephants cannot survive in a desert habitat cauz there skin is very thick and hard so it will be difficult for the animal to survive there as there the temperature is to high. The other reason is that in desert the water is very less as the rivers dry up there and due to scanty rainfall the water is very less and elephant cannot live without water for long.
