Answer:

x = 2 and y = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

2 x + y - 7 = 0

Multiply by 2

4 x + 2 y - 14 = 0

4 x = 14 - 2 y ... ( i )

4 x - 3 y + 1 = 0

From ( i )

14 - 2 y - 3 y + 1 = 0

- 5  y + 15 = 0

- y + 3 = 0

y = 3

4 x = 14 - 2 y  ... ( i )

4 x = 14 - 6

4 x = 8

x = 2

Now look at graph ( 2 , 3 ) intersect each other.

It show that value for x and y are correct.
