Answer

1. The green leaves are called the food factory of the plants because the food in plants is prepared by the green leaves by the process of photosynthesis.

2.Roots of  Carrots, radishes, beetroots and turnips store food in the plant.

3.roots that grow out from the end of a stem are called fibrous roots, which are the opposite of the taproots system. This root system is usually thin. When the tree reaches full maturity the root becomes matted and soft. This helps in the long life of the tree.

4.Plants like neem, mango, carrot, turnip, mustard, bean and balsam have tap roots.

5. Green leaves give out  oxygen while preparing food.
