3 {x}^{2}  - 9x + 2 = 0

a = 3

b = - 9

c = 2.

Discriminent is denoted by the letter D.

D = b^2 - 4ac

D = ( -9 )^2 - ( 4 × 3 × 2 )

D = 81 - 24

D = 51.

Discriminent of the given equation is 51.

as D > 0 , the value is not perfect square and a,b,c are rational numbers, nature of the roots of the given equation is Irrational and distinct.
