1.A liquid generally flows easily because the intermolecular space between the liquid particles are more as compared to solids. Moreover there is a very little force of attraction between the particles.

2.Ice at 0 C appears colder to the mouth than water at 0 C because the ice absorbs more latent heat as compared to water at the same temperature.

3.Doctors advise to put strips of wet cloths on the forehead of a person having high temperature because the water absorbs the heat of the body and then evaporate leaving a cool impact.

(i) A liquid generally flows easily.

Ans :- The intermolecular Forces in a liquid are weak. It's molecules are able to slide over one another and liquid generally flows easily.

(ii)Ice at 0 C appears colder to the mouth that water at 0. Why?

Ans:- Latent heat of fusion of ice is quite high. In the mouth, ice absorbs this heat and melts. That is why ice at 0°C gives more cooling sensation in the mouth than water at the same temperature.

(iii)Doctor advise to put strips
of a wet cloth on the forehead of a person having high temperature

Ans :- As water evaporates from the strips of wet cloth placed on the forehead of a person, it absorbs heat from the body. The body temperature gets lowered and the person gets some relief from fever.
