Answer:

The lime contain CO2 so after some time the color of water change into milky u can check it by respiration process take a beker of limewater and just take close toyour nose for few seconds after that it will turn to milky because of CO2.

Answer:

Lime water is calcium hydroxide solution. On reacting with carbon dioxide it forms insoluble calcium carbonate which remains in water as a suspension rendering a milky white colour to it.
