Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma
(i) When insects like bees drink nector from male plants the pollen grains from the stamen are passed to the legs of the insect , these grains are sticky so they are stuck to the legs of the insect. When this insect travels to a female plant of the same species as the male plant the pollen grains stick to the stigma ( female part) . The pollen grains are then moved through the help of pollen tube from he stigma for further fertilisation.
