The raw materials required for photosynthesis are carbon dioxide and water in presence of sunlight and chlorophyll..

The 3 function of leaf are :-

  • As it contains chlorophyll it traps sunlight energy
  • It is helps in process like transpiration, transportation, photosynthesis
  • It acts as storage place for produced glucose and starch

It is called photosynthesis because photo means light and synthesis means to make thus as it produces glucose with light it's called photosynthetis

It uses food for various metabolic activities by converting glucose into simpler form which yields ATP molecule which provides energy.

Yes, plants and animals have interdependent relation as plant provide food to animal.. And also animal helps plants in pollination
