Total number of cards = 52

(i) No. of face cards in one deck = 12

Probability (getting a face card) = 12/52

Probability (getting a face card) = 3/13

(ii) No. of cards from 2 to 5 = 16

Probability (getting a card from 2 to 5) = 16/52

Probability (getting a card from 2 to 5) = 4/13

Ans. (i) 3/13 (ii) 4/13
