Answers
a. Acceleration is in the direction of motion, when you are increasing the speed of the car moving along a straight line.
b. Drop anything on the floor. When it hits, it accelerates counter to its previous direction of motion. If it bounces, then it goes against acceleration due to gravity
c. In simpler terms, a number equal to the acceleration in such a motion does not change as a function of time. Some uniform accelerated motion examples include a ball rolling down a slope, a skydiver jumping out of a plane, a ball dropped from the top of a ladder and a bicycle whose brakes have been engaged
d. Examples of non-uniformly accelerated motion : 1- The motion of a bus leaving or entering the bus stop. 2- The motion of a train leaving or entering the platform. 3- The motion of a bus on a crowded road.
