City ofrants is teeming hive where work is unending. Homes of these tiny creatures
are underneath small mounds, and inside mounds there are chambers and galleries
filled with thousands of hurrying little creatures. At centre of ant community is om
queen. She alone lays eggs which will become next generation in ant city. As queen
lays her eggs, busy worker ants carry them away to nursery. There they are
watched over by nurse ants who, as soon as grubs hatch out of eggs, feed them
with special food, keep them clean, and do everything they can to make them grow.
While nurse ants look after young, sentinel ants mount guard to give warning about​
