Solution:

1,3,7,13​

1 =  1² - 0

3 = 2² - 1

7 = 3² - 2

13 = 4² - 3

5² - 4  = 25 - 4  = 21

Next number = 21

Tₙ  = n² - (n - 1 )  = n² - n + 1

Another way

1 + 2*1  = 3

3 + 2*2  = 7

7 + 2*3 = 13

13 + 2* 4  = 21

Tₙ₊₁ = Tₙ + 2n
