B. Mr. S.M. Mishra who wanted to sell some cows refused to sell a cow for * 525. Later on he
sold them through an agent, 4 cows were sold for 570 each and 6 cows for 555 each. If
the agent charged his commission at the rate of 5%, find the gain or loss percent to Mr. S.M.
Mishra with respect to former offer which was refused by him.
Ans. Profit = 118 % or 1.514%​

he could have sold at 5250,

but he sold at 5610,

after giving 5% commission remaining profit is 5329.5

so the profit is 79.5 wrt former offer,

so the profit percentage is = (79.5/5250)×100= 1.514%
