Given : Dealer in Bhopal (M.P.) supplies goods worth 5000 to a dealer in Indore (M.P.) who supplies the same goods to a dealer in Delhi at a profit of 2000 who sells to a customer at a profit of 1800.

To find :  Amount Paid by Dealer and  customer

Solution:

Missing Data GST Rate

Assumed GST Rate = 12 %

Amount Paid by Indore dealer = 5000 + (12/100) 5000

= Rs 5600

Amount Paid by Delhi Dealer = (5000 + 2000)  + (12/100)(5000 + 2000)

= 7000 + 840

= Rs 7840

delhi dealer paid for the goods including GST = Rs 7840

Amount Paid by Customer  =   (7000 + 1800) + (12/100)(7000 + 1800)

= 8800 + 1056

= 9856 Rs

cost of goods, customer paid = 9856 Rs
