B purchased from A a bicycle at 4% less than A gave for it and sold it to C at 18% above what A paid for it . If B' s actual profit on his outlay was Rs.132, what can C's cost price?

Let the cost price of article be Rs.C

Sale Price of A =45C

Sale Price of B =45C ×109

Sale Price of C =45C ×109 ×56=Rs.27

Solving we get C=Rs.20

Thus A paid Rs.20 to buy this article
