Final Answer: The output voltage V₀ for the circuits is -21.42

Explanation: As shown in the figure,

We write equation for the first mesh

I₁ = - 10A

(In the first mesh the direction of current I₁ and 10 A current are opposite in direction.)

The Equation for the second mesh ( by applying + and - sign), we get

10 - 1(I_2) -2(I_2 - I_1) - 3(I_2 -I_3) = 0\\10 - I_2 - 2I_2 + 2I_1 - 3I_2 + 3I_3 = 0\\

Putting the value of I₁ in the above equation, we get

10 - I_2 - 2I_2 - 20 - 3I_2 -+3I_3 = 0\\- 6I_2 + 3I_3 = -10\\6I_2 - 3I_3 = -10     ....(i)

The equation for the third mesh

-3(I_3 - I_2) - 4(I_3 - I_1) - 5I_3 = 0\\-3I_3 + 3I_2 - 4I_3 + 4I_1 - 5I_3 = 0\\

Again putting the value of I₁ in the above equation, we get

-3I_3 + 3I_2 - 4I_3 - 40- 5I_3 = 0\\3I_2 -12I_3 =  40       \     ....(ii)

On solving equations (i) and (ii), we get

I₂ = 3.80A and I₃ = - 4.28A

So, output voltage

V₀ = RI₃

V₀ = 5 × - 4.28 = - 21.42 volt.
